I entered my first post a while back. I'm not online often. I came truly to check on "THE RUMORS" and glad to hear the feedback. BUT since I am here: I have a bodybuilding show in JUNE. I am pretty much doing the diet my self and my biggest worry(of all things) is my posing routine. The question is: should I try to be hardcore with rockin' music first... should I try to be unique with some underground unknown trance music... or should I be myself and do what I have been thinking: coming out to Darth Vader's imperial march! I mean, June's not far away. I have a lot to work on. I weigh about 200 now, but want to shred hard for <172.5, and it's only amatuer, so I get 90 secs on stage... AHHH! ANY IDEAS, GUYS?? (hopefully I can get some pics this weekend so you's pros can get me feedback!)

Just make sure the music don't get more attention then you do. I like slow stuff.

Get your posing routine done first then work out what music best suits the routine.
it ifs a slow elegant rountine (Jay cutler example) choose music thats slow and helps create the mood set.
If its out going and fast and pacey (darren charles/malvin anothony example) choose music that will get everyone in the audience cheering ya on.

Thats a good Idea, to model your posing after someone else's routine. I wouldn't copy it move for move but Ive seen several people, amateurs, start that way. Just be sure to get the mandatory poses right and the rest should be a piece of cake. Good Luck. . . . . . . . . . .Red

Pose! No Dancing! Watch the Masters of days past. Ed Corney, Lee Labrada, Arnold, Zane etc... Or dudes like Priest and Rusty Jeffers. Rusty even has a posing DVD. You can get it on his website. Study what they do, and make it your own! I don't know what you look like, but pick music that would suit you. Hmm... The Imperial March... I don't think I would use that unless I was 300 lbs shredded! Whatever you choose put your some soul into it, and KICK ASS!!!

I don't know it is good idea to have something too monumental when one is not huge. Looks funny. To me at least.
