Ok so i just signed up for a PT and i don't know if i really like it to much. He's pretty cool, big dude. He keeps insisting that i MUST do the same weight or heavier EVERYDAY. And he also insists i use bars all the time. I put on decent size doing shit my way with my workouts. I work 50+ hours a week and im not always gonna want to deadlift or squat. Here's pretty much what im getting at do you guys belive that? Only do Bench. Squat. Deadlifts HEAVY all the time? Cause somedays like today im just to tired. I used to do whatever i felt like doing. Is that bad?
Help would be pretty awsome ;D

He is giving you advice based on what is working for him when it comes to his physique. This makes him a horrible p/t since he is not willing to expand the training of his clients to suit their individual needs. An all around complete workout consists of incorporating all types of weights not just bars. If things have worked for you following your body's response, then go back to that or find another trainer who is willing to listen to you, make recommandations, etc. Good luck!

if anything for mass i would say free weights doesn't matter ifs its bars, cables, machines not one type of set ya do with either it doesn't hit every area of each muscle

He’d better come up with some new sh!t for you to do, or basically, you’re paying the guy to stand there and count.

Dude you need to go to management and demand a different trainer, if they refuse then ask for a refund. He's a waste and doing nothing to help you out. You don't ask for a "spot", he's the one to make sure you are training properly...hence him incorparating the best routine for you.
GET OUT NOW BEFORE YOU INJURE YOURSELF BECAUSE OF HIS STUPIDITY.

the body is quite adaptive but it does have its limits, you keep pushing so hard especially on days that you are tired and your setting yourself up for some type of injury/overtraining state. the body needs rests and times of less weight, heavy all the time and too often will just wear you out, having said that, everyone has different thresholds of what their body can bear. listen to your body and instinct, not this fellow, i think he can be helpfull, but he's not in charge, you are.

Get away from this jack-off before he totally screws your body up!!! Granted those core exercises are great, but not all the time and not super heavy!!! He should be tailoring your workout for you and only you!!! Get out now, he is not worth your time and money!!!
