im natural as well, i dont try bulk up as much as what i use to do and i do heaps of cardio all year round that keeps me lean as well.
At least ya doing the hard yards naturally i find its more rewarding that way and ya will be as big as ya want to be in time

My weight when not preppig is 15-20lbs more than my comp weight. Let me tell you, its a bit*h trying to get my body to stay lean all year, Believe me, it not by choice my weight goes up! It takes me about 16 weeks to prep for a show.

I tend to lose weight if I train light or take a few weeks off. It takes me about 8-12weeks to put on 10lbs of lean muscle mass, but 4 weeks to lose it if I don't stick to a regular eating plan and a consistant training program. I would love to stay at 115lbs and had achieved that, but during December took it light and lost 10lbs. It's just as frustrating to try and gain as it is to lose.

If so, does it effect your muscle tone because of the water retention? Just wondering....

Just wondering.... ...from my experience, when I'm...oh, say 1 month out, then it sometimes disappears for up to 3 months, it depends if Im doing a ton of cardio, like 3hrs /day. I imagine if your a fbb, then it would disapear for sure since they get even lower bodyfat levels than figure. Yes, you can retain water, that also happens though from just having estrogen in our bodies, so thats where some women will take anti-estrogens and then when the show comes, diuretics as well. It can be tough being a girl in this sport since we have so many hormone variants, just gotta figure out how our own bodies work....Im still learning, thats for sure!
