I really do not believe in having and "off season" and lett'n yourself go. I do cardio all year round, but keep to a minimum during off season. "In season" i do cardio 45min-1hour daily. Whether in 1 session or 2 (AM/PM) type thing.
I do various activities: love the elptical trainer, jog, swim, bike or bike at the gym.

Before, I would do 30 mins of cardio 3 or 4 days. But now that i'm training to compete in a figure competition, i increased to 40 to 50 mins 5 days a week.
either the eliptical, arc trainer or adaptive motion trainer.

Hmmm girl...comp aint till June. Don't push the cardio too much. It will be hard come cutt'n time. You have time. Concentrate on the diet/eating. We talk more about this...

When prepping for a show, I go up to 3hrs day for my cardio (2-3 sessions/day) and I do it on the treadmill. I hate doin cardio- I wasn't blessed with great genetics, so come show time I pay the price

I have to be carefull with my cardio. I tend to do as little cardio as possible when I'm not training heavy. Mostly boxing since it does help muscle growth and leaning you out without losing anything. Rowing for strenght. Used to love to jog in the mornings but was not gaining so I stopped that. When I am training heavy I don't do any cardio since I'm trying to put on size and I have a hard time with that.
