congrats. on your decision to compete. It looks like you have a solid meal plan but, I would recommend reducing your carb intake later in the day. Also, your diet/training plan will probably change as you get closer to your show. You will Begin to see how your body reacts to certain things, and you will be able to adjust appropriately. Let me know if you have anymore questions. Good Luck!

You're going to have to switch things up, make a diffirent mealplan each week, or you'll soon burn out on it. Also try and get the carbs in after 4pm. You also need some fruit in there...fruit with low natural sugar and low carb intake. 2Protien shakes a day(granted they are low calories and carb) should be enough. Unless you're still trying to gain. Then a high calorie one should work in the morning, low calorie at night.

There are only two things that I can add that might help.
Never eat carbs by themselves always have some protein with them, it slows down the digestion of the carbs. You will want to avoid haveing an insulin spike at this time. It causes carbs to be stored as fat. You can check and see how the food rates on the glycemic index. A good one is at the university of sidney (sp) in Austraila, web site. You can Google it and find it. It has most foods listed. The reason that this is important is because if a food is rated to high on the glycemic index it will cause an insulin spike. Complex carbs are also good because they are digested slower and will help with your energy levels.
The second bit of info is that there is a good on line trainer that a lot of the people at my gym use. We live in the middle of nowhere and ther just isnt a good trainer here. He helped put on the NPC show at this years Arnold Classic. Oh and his name is Mike Davies. All of the people I know who use him are getting good results. Results that I can see, not results that they tell me about. Hope this helps. . . . . . . . . .Red
