I have this book called Supercuts and its a really good book full of clean but tastey recipes and it also talks about the 2 different diets that are used for precontest. Theres the Low Carbs and carb cutting diet and the low fats and low calorie diet. Which one have you guys benefitted from? Which one works for you. I myself work in a metal shop and they are very demanding of work and im affraid to do the carb cutting diet as i will not have much energy and will become very irritable. But then it says that the low cal low fat will make you loose mucsle. Which do you think is better?

Depends on what you are trying to achieve. Gaining or losing. But a high calorie/low fat/low carb diet works best for me. In the beginning it's 40%carb/60% protien with high calorie content. Then I'll cut that down to 20%carb, but since my metabolism is very high I maintain a high calorie intake. Depending on how cut I want to look I will skip carbs altogether for a few weeks, but this can make you very irritable.
If you're just in the beginning of contest prep, play around with your diet for a week or so. Try going high protien/calories and low carb for at least a week. Then switch it up the next with equal amounts of carb and protien, lower calorie. See which has better results and try and maintain that. Just remember about 4weeks before contest, very low or no carbs....you'll get a more shredded look.
