fast food is okay if you choose wisely. For instance, at McD's I get the grill chicken on wheat bun, no mayo, side salad w/low fat dressing and a bottle water. The other fast food places now offer similar healthy choices. Again it's all in the choices you make that will determine if it's good or bad.

i guess it depends what your goals are, bulking without caring too much about fat gain then anything on the menu. if you are trying to maintain then abit more choosie. if fat loss then there are choices no doubt, gotta be carefull, i eat out at those places while dieting several days a week due to convenience. you can't go in too hungry or you'll order the wrong thing. fact is it can be tough to get the grilled sandwich or salad and a bottle of water instead of burger/fried chicken sandwich with the fries and several refills on the coke. i work outside and pretty demanding so i can still get away with the full cal value meal but the rest of the day i will eat like 0 fat grams so i make it work. i'm convinced that same meal if taken late that night instead would bring all fat burning to an abrubt halt. some restaurants are harder to stick the diet than others, my two fav's for dieting are Chick Fil A and Wendy's, i really avoid Macdonalds, and places like checkers or taco bell aren't even a consideration, the only thing at taco bell are chicken taco's and they are dry as hell.

Fast food is the devil!!! lol...seriously though, fast food will kill you, over time, their food is so processed and full of chemicals that its not even real food now. The problem is, like Doug said, Convienance!!! If it weren't so damn easy to just stop in and get a bite then we wouldn't even be having this discussion. Life is so fast paced now that "fast food" is the only option we have. I do think if you eat it once in a while you'll be fine, but if you find yourself in line at Mcie D's more then twice a month you better check yourself......

Don't enjoy the taste of fast food so it's easy for me to not think about it. I might have fries once a month or less. I've started cooking recently and I have to say that has made me more conscious about what goes into my body and how healthy it is for me. Even when I'm hungry and it's convenient to just hop into a McD's, I prefer the hunger over the crap they have. That's why I always carry fruit with me...

Can only be "fruity" if I was a guy...something you know alot of ;D
If you're not used to certain foods then you won't crave it. So if you didn't grow up eating fast foods(KFC, McD's, etc) you won't have an interest in eating it later in life. Just my opininion. Growing up we had a home cooked meal every night, we never had pizza or anything like that. To this day I don't like pizza or have a craving for junk

I dont look at convenence been a factor i look at the price i could spend round $20 on one meal if i dont cook it or prepare it my self. Then when buy and could my own meal and know wats in it ends up been a lot cheaper and spend the rest of the money on more food or other things
